The Birthing Cottage of Winter Park provides comprehensive childbirth preparation classes that cover the information you need for a safe, positive and satisfying birth experience. Our experienced childbirth educator will take you step by step through the pregnancy, birth and postpartum process.

Classes encompass many subjects, but primarily revolve around techniques for breathing in labor, vocalization, distraction techniques, massage for labor and birth, 3rd trimester pregnancy, preterm labor, medications and unexpected outcomes, postpartum care, basic breastfeeding and infant care.

We also offer private classes, lactation consulting and doula services.

Child Birth Education classes are held on the first weekend of the month, from approximately 9:00 am - 1:00 pm each day. Classes are limited to 4 couples (total of 8 people).
